1) Each boiler must be equipped with a pressure gauge directly connected to the steam space of the drum. Pressure gauges should be installed in front of the regulating valve of the feed water pipe, at the outlet of the split economizer, between the outlet of the superheater and the main steam valve, and at the reheater superheater.

2) The pressure gauge should be installed in a place that is easy to observe and easy to flush, and should be protected from vibration and high temperature, and should have sufficient light.

3) The pressure gauge should be installed independently and should not be connected to other pipes.

4) There should be a water trap between the pressure gauge and the drum, and a three-way cock should be installed between the water trap and the pressure gauge.

When the water trap is made of steel pipe, its inner diameter should not be less than 10mm; when it is made of copper pipe, its inner diameter should not be less than 6mm.

The three-way cock should be installed to facilitate frequent flushing of the water trap, calibration, inspection, and disassembly and installation.

5) The calibration and maintenance of the pressure gauge device should comply with the regulations of the national department. The pressure gauge should be calibrated before installation, and a red line should be drawn on the dial to indicate the working pressure. After installation, the pressure gauge should be calibrated at least once every six months. The pressure gauge should be sealed after calibration.

6) If the pressure gauge has any of the following conditions, it should be stopped from use.

① When there is no pressure on the pressure gauge with a limit pin, the pointer cannot return to the limit pin after rotation; when there is no pressure on the pressure gauge without a limit pin, the value of the pointer from the zero position exceeds the maximum error allowed by the pressure gauge.

② The surface glass is broken or the dial scale is unclear.

③ The seal is damaged or the calibration validity period has expired.

④ There is steam leakage in the gauge or the pointer jumps.

⑤ Other defects that affect the accuracy of the pressure gauge
