We all know that instrument calibration is the behavior of testing and adjusting measuring instruments or standard parts to understand their accuracy, but we found that many customers feel that they do not need to do anything else and can relax after we have done calibration for them. In fact, after we have finished the instrument calibration, there are two very important things to do :1, certificate filing. After the certificate is placed in the file, the new correction value will be generated after the instrument calibration, and the user or custodian of the instrument should replace the old correction value with the new correction value in time, and timely update the correction value stored in the relevant software of the computer processing test data. 2. Measurement confirmation. A set of operations required to ensure that the measuring equipment meets the requirements for its intended use; Through regular performance evaluation of measuring instruments, and comparison and verification with the use requirements, to ensure that measuring instruments meet the requirements of the measurement management system.
Among them, measurement confirmation is an essential part, which is an important measure to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the results. Note: Metrological validation usually includes calibration and verification, any necessary adjustments or repairs and subsequent recalibration, comparison to the metrological requirements for the intended use of the equipment, and required seals and labels (status identification). Metrological validation is not complete until the measuring equipment has been proven fit for intended use and documented. Intended use requirements include: measuring range, resolution, maximum allowable error, etc. Metrological requirements are usually different from product requirements and are not specified in product requirements.
So, in the measurement confirmation, what are the main process methods? 1. The calibration process of the measuring equipment arranges calibration personnel in the third-party calibration mechanism to carry out instrument calibration for the measuring equipment to be calibrated under certain environmental conditions. 2, the process of exporting measurement requirements according to customer needs, from the contract, product standards, technical requirements, production process control documents or other legal provisions, specifications export measurement requirements. 3. The verification process verifies whether the certificate/report issued by the third-party calibration institution is valid and whether it meets the verification conclusion of the measurement requirements.
4, adjustment or maintenance process If the calibration results can not meet the measurement requirements, the measuring equipment should be returned to the original factory for adjustment or maintenance, or arrange special technical personnel for adjustment and maintenance. 5, recalibration (or review) process after adjustment and maintenance, issue a report of the measurement equipment after adjustment or maintenance, and then calibrate the instrument again, issue a new calibration certificate. 6, confirm the status mark after the completion of the marking process, confirm two states: 1. Confirm the conformity mark; 2. Confirm the failure mark (cannot be repaired or adjusted).
