  1. Safe Operation

    1. When operating the constant temperature oil bath, pay attention to preventing burns. Since the temperature of the oil bath is relatively high during the working process, the operator should wear protective equipment such as heat-insulating gloves. When adding heat transfer oil or performing other operations in contact with high-temperature oil, be especially careful to avoid hot oil splashing and hurting people.

    2. The constant temperature oil bath should use a power source that meets safety standards and ensure good grounding. Regularly check whether the power cord and plug are damaged to avoid electrical accidents.

  2. Precautions for Using the Thermometer

    1. The standard thermometer and the calibrated thermometer should be handled with care during use to avoid violent vibration or collision, so as not to damage the temperature-sensing element of the thermometer and affect the measurement accuracy.

    2. The measurement range of the thermometer should match the working temperature range of the constant temperature oil bath, and it is strictly prohibited to use it beyond the range. If the thermometer is used for a long time at high temperature, its accuracy may decline. Therefore, the use time and calibration cycle should be reasonably arranged according to the thermometer's operation manual.

  3. Temperature Uniformity of the Oil Bath

    1. During the temperature calibration, pay attention to the temperature uniformity in the constant temperature oil bath. You can measure by inserting thermometers at different positions to check the temperature differences in different areas of the oil bath. If the temperature uniformity is poor, it may affect the accuracy of the calibration results. At this time, it is necessary to check and adjust the stirring device or heating system of the oil bath.

  4. Calibration Cycle

    1. The calibration cycle of the constant temperature oil bath should be determined according to factors such as the frequency of use, the accuracy requirements, and the stability of the equipment. It is generally recommended to calibrate regularly, such as at least once a year. For occasions with frequent use or high accuracy requirements, the calibration cycle can be appropriately shortened.
